Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to riders and visitors.

- DayTime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 12:15 PM - 08:15 PM, Fri 09:45 AM - 05:45 PM, Sat 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM, Sun 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted locations, assisting with authorized entry procedures and reporting policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity.
- Support crowd management and high-traffic periods by providing directions, assisting with orderly movement of the public, and following post orders for service interruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
