Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, alarm conditions, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain order and safety by monitoring entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and helping to maintain orderly movement of people and vehicles on site.
- Observe shipping, receiving, and dock areas for security-related issues, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership when appropriate.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
