As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication to guests, staff, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and/or team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
