Security Officer Unarmed Patrol
About the Role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Sioux Center, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly in the food and beverage sector. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when necessary.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns through established reporting channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food production and warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit at the location.
- Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, unusual activity, or issues involving deliveries and contractor access.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Friday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
