About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location in El Dorado, AR, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, access points, parking areas, equipment locations, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, facility conditions, and potential hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Day shift: Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
