About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role provides exceptional customer service, clear communication, and response to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
