About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Burbank, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service. This role offers the opportunity to use your supervisory experience and technology skills while working with a reliable, innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Access control/badge experience (preferred).
- Alarm panel experience (preferred).
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$21.75 / hour
