Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail mall setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while assisting with access control, crowd awareness, and general support for day-to-day mall operations.
• Observe and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity, helping to support a professional and welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
• Job Schedule Daytime
• Fri: 02:15 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM
