As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain awareness of restricted or sensitive areas.
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
