About the role

As an Unarmed Mobile Driver Security Officer in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations, infrastructure, or personnel, following established escalation procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
