About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Lobby in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity, use technology as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, grounds, perimeter, and/or other restricted areas to help identify potential hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points, verifying credentials and following post orders to help support authorized entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, while following Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses: Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
