About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location in Clinton, SC, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors according to facility procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and facility representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.19 / Hour

Schedule

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
