About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control procedures. You will use communication and customer service skills to assist employees and visitors, respond to alarms and incidents, and help promote a welcoming environment.

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day Time: Monday through Friday, 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Pay

• $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, perimeter boundaries, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
