Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Multiple Shifts

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Ringgold, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, drivers, contractors, and visitors while maintaining awareness of food-production operational requirements.

Qualifications

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
