As a Security Officer Unarmed – Full Time in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. In this Access Control Security Officer role you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security‑related concerns while providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing badges or passes, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, exterior areas, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate access‑control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.75 per hour

Schedule

Daytime, Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM
