Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor authorizations, delivery appointments, and/or contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, issue access credentials as authorized, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Minimum age 18 years for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation (in accordance with federal, state, and local laws).
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Any required licensing per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license only if the position requires driving.

$22.00 per hour

• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
