Position Type: Part‑Time
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.
- Assist with maintaining awareness of facility conditions, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to the appropriate site contacts.
Requirements
- Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess a Corrections Officer License.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
