Security Officer - Unarmed Evenings

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain entry records, and follow site procedures for deliveries and outbound traffic.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.
