Security Officer Evenings - Armed

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

$19.10 per hour.
