Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol in FAIRFAX, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with post instructions.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age.
