Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate written reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Exceptional customer service and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
