About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Credential Services in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building exteriors, employee entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Access control/badge experience.
