About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Records in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring access activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points, verifying visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs and communicate unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$18.50 / Hour
