About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed CPR Response in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access awareness, and respond to alarms or concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and common areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and shift logs.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
