About the role

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Reception in Charlottesville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor front-desk access, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and communicate access concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
  • Support a professional lobby environment at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by answering inquiries, managing incoming communications, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Customer service experience.
  • CPR certification.
  • Access control and badge experience.
  • Alarm panel experience.
