About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Bank in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders while supporting a professional financial-services environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving post).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

CPR certification is preferred.
