Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, restricted zones, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Support the protection of sensitive business operations and property by following established protocols and promptly reporting unusual conditions.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
