Security Officer TWIC Credential Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer TWIC Credential Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and personnel. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or maritime personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, waterfront-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
