Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government maritime transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, communicating observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Day: Monday, Time: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Day: Saturday, Time: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour
