As a Security Officer TWIC Compliance in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as chemical/petrochemical. This is a part‑time position with flexible scheduling through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue or retrieve access materials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, inspect documentation as required, and direct authorized traffic in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, problem‑solving and promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, perimeter areas, and chemical or petrochemical location grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Daytime – Monday 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Tuesday 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
