Security Officer - Truck Manufacturing Facility

As a Security Officer - Truck Manufacturing Facility in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in an automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-related spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Maintain access points and help to verify that employees, visitors, and/or deliveries are processed in line with site protocols and documented as required.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns observed during patrols and routine assignments.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
