Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and personnel by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal guidelines at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipment-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, remaining aware of changing activity levels, delivery schedules, and operational conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
