Job Description

As a Security Officer Transit Fare Enforcer in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and personnel, and report concerns in accordance with site procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, public-access areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Maintain access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
