Security Officer - Third Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities involving people, property, or equipment.
• Support a professional work environment by communicating clearly with supervisors, employees, and first responders during routine operations and/or unusual events.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
