What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential risks in order to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
- Support access control and opening and closing procedures, verify authorized entry where required, and assist with incident response and/or de-escalation as situations arise.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
