About the role
Cook Media Global is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Security Officer to provide security and front desk operations support at their headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Maintain visibility and deterrence in public and non-public areas, including buildings, parking areas, stairwells, and grounds.
- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Intervene in crises with empathy, clarity, and authority.
- Investigate and document suspicious activity, intrusions, damage, or emergencies.
- Maintain clear communication with team members, management, and public safety personnel.
- Assist with coordination during fire, medical, or security emergencies.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work on short notice, including nights and weekends.
- Escort staff and visitors when needed; assist with tenant safety.
- Complete detailed incident reports.
- Perform reception duties during normal shift hours as needed.
