About the role
Surefox Utah, Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and skilled workforce. We are seeking an experienced Full-time Incident Commander Supervisor to join our team in Draper, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Surefox Utah and its clients, overseeing emergency response.
- Respond to emergency events, address medical and non-medical issues, solve staffing deficiencies, and handle client requests promptly.
- Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on internal client and company issues.
- Coordinate with additional supervisors and security teams to ensure all information is reviewed with officers.
- Ensure all post equipment is signed out and back in correctly, and inspect equipment upon check-out/check-in.
- Ensure team members have necessary information and access to relevant apps on their work phones.
- Maintain employee break schedules in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate deployment changes to maximize Surefox's footprint and cover all assigned duties.
- Document changes in posture and update coverage for each shift via email to the Area Manager.
- Manage call-offs, late arrivals, no-shows, and other attendance issues using the Discrepancy Sheet.
- Cover open posts as needed and execute the “Time Off Request” (TOR) process.
- Train and advise team members on additional steps required for leave requests and notify them of approval or denial.
- Manage Surefox Counseling Program to ensure employee professional and personal development.
Requirements
- Eligible for employment within the United States.
- A minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
- Able to pass an extensive background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
- Lives within driving distance or willing to relocate.
- Current Utah DOPL-approved unarmed guard license (guard card) or eligible to qualify for one.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Effective communication skills with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Good judgment and ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Independent and team-oriented work ethic.
Qualifications
- Security or law enforcement-related experience preferred.
- Military background is a plus.
- Report writing experience preferred.

- Exceptional observation skills and attention to detail.
