What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support store operations by helping with crowd management, monitoring high-traffic areas, and assisting with security-related requests during opening, closing, and busy business periods.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
