Security Officer State Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer State Licensed Patrol Driver in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required by site policy, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, contractors, and after-hours activity.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
