Security Officer - Spanish Speaking Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer - Spanish Speaking Patrol in North Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in accordance with post orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized access as directed, and maintaining required logs and reports.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in accordance with post orders.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Fluency in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
