Security Officer Site Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Northborough, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as technology, media, and telecommunications. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
