About the role
As a Security Officer Site Observation in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Using clear communication and teamwork, you will support a welcoming environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Report hazardous conditions, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
