Security Officer Site Monitor

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Site Monitor in UXBRIDGE, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and communicate security-related concerns in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Support access control and customer flow at designated areas, while assisting with directional questions, lost and found inquiries, and other service-related needs.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Computer/Tab preferred.
• Loss Prevention experience preferred.
• Access Control and/or Badge experience preferred.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
