Job Description

As a Security Officer Site Monitor in Piedmont, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring culture that puts people first while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity each day.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, access points, and perimeter, with attention to changing conditions in a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Support incident reporting, communication with site contacts and/or first responders, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, hazardous material locations, and emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
