Security Officer Site Inspection

About the Role

As a Security Officer Site Inspection in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and other guests at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site policies, documenting unusual occurrences and notifying appropriate personnel
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• Access control and badge experience
• Customer service experience
• Comfort using a computer or tablet

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Day Time: Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Tuesday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
