Security Officer - Shopping Plaza Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Site Checks in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as retail and malls. This part-time driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and access points to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe activity throughout the property, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as a condition of employment, in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time: Thursday and Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
