Security Officer Shopping Center Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, with patrols that help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and communicating with store leadership and/or local authorities when needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
