Security Officer Service Center

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement, following site procedures for entry, escort requirements, and restricted areas within the financial services location.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, and by completing required logs and incident reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
