Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to identify unauthorized items, access concerns, and/or other unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation as required, and report discrepancies through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Guard card and/or license.
• Customer service experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
