About the role

As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution in Buffalo, NY, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors while reflecting Allied Universal’s values: agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.41 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Tuesday: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
